Introduction to Rock Climbing

 

Learn the fundamental skills of basic safety, climbing etiquette, equipment specifications, knot tying, rappelling, belaying, and climbing technique. The school will supply you with all of the technical climbing equipment needed for your day on the rocks. This class provides you with the basic skills needed for a lifetime of climbing adventures.  Enjoy a challenging and safe introduction to the exciting world of technical rock climbing. Classes are catered to the individual's level of physical fitness.

 

Intro Day Two To Rock Climbing

 

In this course you will build on the skills, techniques, and abilities learned in the Introduction to Rock Climbing.  New information includes additional knots, an overview of the principles involved in creating a basic top rope anchor system, advanced rappelling skills and top belaying.  You will focus and learn a better understanding of advanced footwork and climbing techniques.  Each student's individual progress is monitored closely, allowing your Adventure School Rock Climbing instructor to evaluate both technical rope and movement skills, ensuring you gain a solid foundation from which you can continually grow as a climber.
