Horseback Riding Adventures

If you have never rode a horse before, our guided trail ride into the George Washington National Park, is a perfect introduction to equestrian life. These 125 private acres are packed with rolling hills and steeped in American and pre-American tradition: a one-time home for Indians, a passageway for pioneers and a battleground during the Revolutionary and
Civil Wars.  More experienced riders may arrange private rides to include trotting and cantering through the scenic Shenandoah Valley.

(Equestrian helmets are required and provided. Riders may not exceed 240 pounds.)

Optional: Wine tasting at award-winning local Virginia wineries may be added to the ride, for an additional fee, per group request

"Jacob and Madeline had such a good time horseback riding that we've decided to make this a family outing every month! Thanks to Living4Adventure my kids got a chance to experience a new activity, in a safe environment, and I got to experience the beautiful Fall leaves changing color."
