Lliving4Adventure is a Washington, DC based outdoor adventure club, with easy, moderate, and advanced active trips. Founded in 2000, we offer fun, safe activities for our members. People join Living4Adventure for different reasons. Some want to push their limits and experience an adrenaline rush. Others want to meet new friends or re-charge their batteries surrounded by nature. Families join to do different activities as a family. Everyone appreciates that Living4Adventure handles all the logistics and planning. So you can relax and enjoy the adventure!
Our outfitters are the best in the industry featuring top of the line equipment, guides and knowledge of the activities. This is one of the reasons Washingtonian Magazine recognized Living4Adventure in July 2006 for our perfect safety record and recommended Living4Adventure for singles in the city. Of course, we also do trips for couples and families!
We have several different types of activities such as whitewater rafting, skiing, hiking, jet skiing, paintball, horseback riding, snow tubing and more!
Kids4Adventure focuses on helping children and their parents enjoy the great outdoors. We recognize that the bonds families share while enjoying an adventure together will make memories for a lifetime. We encourage families to participate in our adventure trips to build a stronger relationship between parent and child. More than we like to believe, many children have never been out of the city and are becoming less and less active. Some parents are often too busy to spend quality time with their children.
This is a great opportunity to have the entire family experience a new adventure together, become more active and develop a stronger relationship. Not only are the adventures fun but they are also a great way to reduce family stress and tension. Parents having a difficult time talking or relating to their children can use the adventure trips as a way to open the lines of communication again.
Stepping out of the box is critical to the overall development of our child and the family as a whole. With the advancements of technology, we are spending less time together. The interactions on our adventure trips come naturally and are never forced. The Great Outdoors peacefully removes all barriers.
We have met great individuals and families. Our mission is to embolden our members to gain new, exciting experiences, develop solid, lasting friendships and ultimately bring enjoyment and adventure into their lives as a result of being more active in the Great Outdoors.
Not only do our members experience new adventures but they also experience the beauty of nature. We take you to areas that look like backdrops for postcards. Make sure you bring your cameras!
